I work with clients who may be struggling with low self-worth; anxiety; stress; low moods; relational problems; family dynamics.

I am a qualified, insured counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work within the BACP ‘Ethical Framework for Counsellors’, and also the BACP Guidelines for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Information relating to both of these documents can be found at www.bacp.co.uk.
I work in private practice offering both face to face counselling and online/telephone counselling. I have worked with clients across all age ranges, from teenagers to adults. I have the fullest commitment to offering a service which is welcoming to all backgrounds in a supportive and non-discriminatory; non-judgemental manner.

If you wish to book an initial counselling session with me this does not mean you are obligated to attend further sessions. This initial session is a way of helping you get a feel for what counselling involves and most importantly help you decide if you can work with me.
What to expect from me
I believe counselling is a collaborative process where through regular sessions we can work together to explore and understand your difficulties.
Initial Session
When you first make contact we will arrange an appointment for an initial session, so we can look together at your needs and decide whether counselling may be helpful for you
Online & Telephone Counselling
Online counselling therapy is a way for you to engage in counselling using internet technology such as telephone or webcam video such as Zoom.
Supervision
My decision to train as a supervisor felt like a natural development of my experience in counselling and something I am really looking forward to offering to experienced and trainee counsellors.
My Approach
I believe my role as a counsellor is to help you make sense of what is happening and understand what may be causing you stress and anxiety. I believe the key to success is through the relationship that is built between us. We will work together towards a carefully boundaried relationship where you feel safe and feel really listened to. I offer empathy and a space where you can feel valued.
About me
